Simple Ideas for Boosting Your Social Media Campaigns in 2022

Take a look at the following article to really kickstart your year with some great social media content ideas!

Video

Sometimes the simplest ideas remain the most effective. Thanks to investment from social media platforms, in 2022 and beyond, video is here to stay! There are now many forms of video available to aid your social media marketing campaigns, including live video, short-format video and prerecorded video. Taking part in even just one, if not all of these examples of content needs to be on your immediate to-do list.

UGC (user-generated content)

Not exactly a new concept, UGC has been around for a while, however, it is still quite underused and underdeveloped. If this sounds familiar, you need to get focusing on UGC in 2022.

Your UGC strategy can be incorporated in a variety of ways, such as sharing customer content, like their photos and videos, soliciting customer testimonials and stories and handling contests that offer users the chance to submit their own content.

Invite engagement

Please don’t be shy here, as cold hard truth is, you actively need to be actively asking for engagement with your followers. Too many brands don’t have the guts to do this enough. It is essential for you to focus on in 2022 when there is so much noise out there online. While the content strategy depends on the platform, in general, you should post content that sparks conversations, provokes thought, and makes people feel like they can contribute their creative thoughts.

It is also important to engage with other social media users, especially influencers in your industry, as conversations with them may lead to future collaborations or other brand-to-brand social media marketing.

Diversity

Try considering who your brand’s social content represents, including marginalized voices in your campaigns, and ask who your target demographic is. Doing this is the best place to start when trying to incorporate diversity into your campaigns. Clearly, the users interacting with you will not all be the same, but most are now looking for brands that will prioritise diversity, equity, and inclusion. So make 2022 your year for being both authentic and inclusive!
